Registration
When does the registration open?
Registration opens on Tuesday 23 April 2024

Le Champion members can register as early as 8 April 2024.

When does registration close?
Registration closes Monday 9 September 2024, unless we sell out earlier.

What are the rates?
You can find the rates on the website.

I did not receive a confirmation e-mail, what now?
The confirmation e-mail is from 'noreply@atleta.cc'. Also check your spam or junk mail.

If you did not receive a confirmation e-mail, please contact us via the contact form. You may have made a typing error in the e-mail address.

Is there a post-registration? Is there a waiting list?
There is no post-registration or waiting list.

From 10 September 2024 there will be an supply and demand page on the website. On that page, we will offer you the chance to buy or sell a ticket. The seller can assign the ticket to you via his/her dashboard.

Between 12 August and 9 September 2024 it is temporarily nog possible to assign tickets.

If you transfer a ticket after 12 August 2024 you have to make sure that your bib number goes to the new participant.

How do I login to my personal account?
If you have previously used your e-mail address to register in Atleta, choose 'Login' during registration. You will then receive an e-mail from 'noreply@atleta.cc' with a code to log in.
Change, cancel, transfer registration
How do I change my distance?
Open your dashboard and click on 'Details' and then 'Exchange ticket'.

Changing your distance is possible until 12 August 2024, unless the distance is sold out.

How do I change my personal details or shirt size?
Open your dashboard and click on 'Details' and then on 'Edit registration'.

Changing your data is possible until 12 August 2024.

Can I cancel my registration?
If you cannot or do not want to participate, you can transfer your registration to someone else. Find out how that works in the next question.

Members of Le Champion can cancel their registration in writing via the contact form up to 12 August 2024 and receive a refund of their registration fee (minus administration costs). Please check the general terms and conditions on the website for this.

How can I assign my registration to someone else?
Open your dashboard and open your registration. In your ticket, click on 'Details' and 'Transfer ticket'.

If you transfer a ticket after the change deadline, 12 August 2024, you have to arrange among yourselves that the bib number goes to the new participant.

Between 12 August and 9 September 2024 it is temporarily not possibele to transfer.

Please note! Buying or selling a ticket is at your own risk. Le Champion does not mediate in this matter.

Runningshirt
Is there a Runnings hirt available?
Check the website for more information on the Running shirt.

New in 2024: For the Damloop by night (5 English Mile), the running shirt is no longer included in the price. This means that the registration fee has been adjusted and that you can order the exclusive running shirt at registration.

I forgot to order a shirt, is this still possible?
Open your dashboard and your registration. Choose 'Order extras' to still order a shirt.

You can order a shirt until 12 August 2024, while stocks last.
Age limit
What is the minimum age to participate in the event?
A participant must have reached at least a minimum age on the day the event is held. For the 10 English Mile Dam tot Damloop this is 16 years, for the 5 English Mile Damloop by night the minimum age is 14 years.

For the Mini Dam tot Damloop, the ages below apply.
Zaandam:
0.6 km (4 to 7 years)
1.2 km (8 and 9 years)
2.2 km (10 to 13 years)

Amsterdam-Noord:
1.0 km (4 to 7 years)
1.8 km (8-13 years)
Bib number
Will my bib number be delivered to my home?
Yes, you will receive your bib number by post no later than the week of the event. You will receive additional information about this by mail in the week of the event.

I live abroad, will I receive my bib number by post?
No, if you are registered with a foreign address, you will have to collect your bib number from the helpdesk. You will receive information about this in the week of the event.

I have not received my bib number. What should I do now?
If you have not received your bib number on the day of the event, you can pick up a spare bib number at the helpdesk on the event, by showing your last participant information e-mail.

I have taken over a ticket. Can I start in another start wave?
When taking over a bib number after 12 August 2024, you also take over that person's start wave.

I have taken over a ticket. Will my bib number be delivered to my home?
If you have taken over a ticket after the change deadline, 12 August 2024, you have to arrange among yourselves that the bib number will be delivered to you.

Can I change the name on the bib number?
After the change deadline of 12 August 2024, the name on the bib number cannot be changed.

If you have taken over the bib number after that date and the ticket is assigned to you online, your name will be in the results.

Start wave and time
Where are the start and finish?
The 10 English Mile on Sunday starts on the Prins Hendrikkade in Amsterdam.
The 5 English Mile on Saturday evening starts on Vermiljoenweg in Zaandam.

For both events, the finish is on the Peperstraat in Zaandam.

In which start wave do I start?
At the latest in the week of the event, you will receive an e-mail with the latest participant information, your start wave and start time.

What are the start times?
Look for the start times on the website (10 English Mile on Sunday and 5 English Mile on Saturday evening).

Can I start earlier or later?
10 English Mile on Sunday: A participant may start later. Earlier start is not allowed.
5 English Mile on Saturday evening: It is not allowed to start earlier or later!

Can I participate with another distance?
It is not allowed to participate in the 5 English Mile with a bib number for the 10 English Mile. Nor vice versa.

Until what time is the finish line open?
10 English Mile on Sunday: The finish line closes at 5pm.
5 English Mile on Saturday evening: The finish line closes at 10.30pm.
Accessibility
Where can I park?
Check the Accessibility section of the website for more information on parking and accessibility during the event.

What is the accessibility for residents?
Check Residents on the website for information including the route and (traffic) measures during the event.
Helpdesk
Where is the Le Champion helpdesk?
The helpdesk for the 10 English Mile on Sunday is on the city centre side of Amsterdam Central Station. After the finish, there will also be a helpdesk near the entrance at the Dam tot Dam Finish Festival.
The helpdesk for the 5 English Mile on Saturday evening is near the entrance at the Dam tot Dam Finish Festival.
Medal
Will I receive a medal?
All participants will receive a unique memorable medal after the finish.

Where can I get my medal engraved?

You can have your medal engraved at the engraving stand at the Dam tot Dam Finish Festival afterwards. If you ordered this in advance, it will be indicated on your bib number in the form of a small medal. If you decide on the spot to have your medal engraved, you will pay € 11.
Time limits
Are there any time limits?
When participating, the following limits apply:
NN Dam tot Damloop 10 English Mile: 120 minutes
Damloop by night 5 English Mile: 85 minutes

Mini Dam tot Damloop:
2.2 km Mini Run: 25 minutes
1.2 km Mini Run: 15 minutes
0.6 km Mini Run: 10 minutes
Refresments, medical, facilities
What refreshment is available along the way?
Check the website for more information about the Refreshment Stations and their locations (10 English Mile and 5 English Mile)

Is medical assistance available?
You will find medical posts at the refreshment stations along the way.

Are there toilets?
There are toilets at the start and finish locations and along the course.

Are there shower and changing facilities?
There are only changing facilities in Zaandam in Sporthal De Struijck, near the Dam tot Dam Finish Festival. There are no shower facilities. You can also leave (limited) bags here. Participants in the Business Run can leave their clothes in the changing tent at the Dam tot Dam Finish Festival.

Where can clothes be handed in?
10 Englisch Mile on Sunday: Together with the bib number, you will receive a clothing bag specially designed for the NN Dam tot Damloop. This clothing bag should be used to drop off your clothing at the Stationsplein in Amsterdam. About 150 metres after the finish in Zaandam, on the route to the Dam tot Dam Finish Festival, you can pick up your clothing bag again.

5 English Mile on Saturday: On showing your bib number, you can hand in and collect your own clothing bag on the Heijermansstraat, between the Dam tot Dam Finish Festival and the start.

The clothing drop-off, transportation and clothing pick-up is at your own risk. This includes leaving your own bags in the locker rooms.
Time registration, results
Is there time registration?
Time registration is provided by Mylaps Event Timing through a chip on the back of your bib number.

Where can I find the results?
The results can be found on the website.

My result is incorrect, what can I do?
Send a message to Mylaps Event Timing with your bib number and your change.

Can your personal results be removed?
Send a message to Mylaps Event Timing with your bib number and your request. Your data will then be anonymised.
Photo, video
Where can I find my personal photos and video?
After the event, you can find your photos and video in the results of Mylaps.

Can I have my photos removed?
Send a message to Mylaps Event Timing with your bib number and your request.
Kids Run
Is there an award ceremony at the Mini Dam tot Damlopen (kids run)?
Under the motto 'Participation is more important than winning' and 'Everyone is a winner', there is no prize-giving ceremony. All children will receive a medal after the finish.

I would like to run with my child, can I?
Parents with children aged 4-6 years are allowed to run with their child on the course. Running with older children is not allowed.

Registration 2021

When will the registration open?
On Tuesday the 18th of May the regular registration opens for individual participants and business regular. Participants who are entitled to a 25% or 50% discount, participants from 2019 and 2020, will receive their discount code latest on the 18th of May.

 Monday the 3rd of May the registration opens for Le Champ​​​​​​​​ion members, VIP* Business, charity and Clubcard holders.

* VIP Business and charity are teams that were registered in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
I am entitled to a discount code, how does this work?
All participants who couldn’t start in 2019 because of the cancellation of the two final starting groups, receive a 25% discount for 2021.
 
All participants that were registered for the edition of 2020 receive a 50% discount code for the edition of 2021. You receive this discount code by e-mail latest on the 18th of May.
 
The tickets from participants with a discount code will be set aside until the 1st of June. It is possible to use the code after the 1st of June however the tickets will no longer be set aside so full = full applies.
 
The discount code can only be used for the edition of 2021. In case you choose not to make use of this offer, the code expires.
How can I register?
  1. Go to the website
  2. Choose for Registration
  3. Follow all steps of the registration form
  4. As soon as you are registered, you will receive an e-mail with the confirmation of your registration. Via the link Open dashboard you can administer your registration.
I would like to assign my registration to someone else.
When your registration for 2021 is confirmed, go to Open Dashboard in your confirmation e-mail and open your Dam tot Dam registration.

Click on Ticket in the dashboard. At Assign fill in the e-mail address of the person you want to transfer your registration to.

You can assign your registration to someone else until the 17th of September. When the ticket is assigned to the new participant before the 8th of August, the new name will be on the bib number. When the ticket is assigned to the new participant after the 8th of August, the name of the old participant will be on the bib number.

Assigning to someone else is at your own risk. Le Champion doesn’t mediate in this.
How do I change my distance, personal data and/or shirt size?
Go to Open dashboard in your confirmation e-mail to change your personal data.

If you wish to change your distance, please contact us via this form.

You can change your data until the 8th of August.

Please be aware that if you choose for a longer distance that there will be extra costs. When you choose for a shorter distance the paid amount remains the same. It is not possible to get a refund for a part or the registration fee.
Can I cancel my registration?
If you can’t or don’t want to participate, you can transfer your registration to someone else. More information about this can be find at the question about ‘transfer’.

Members of Le Champion can cancel their registration and receive a refund (minus administration costs) if they cancel before the 8th of August. Please check the general terms and conditions for this.
How can I register for the Mini Dam tot Damloop?
Does your child want to experience the Dam tot Damloop? That is possible during the Mini Dam tot Damloop, especially for children from 4 until 13 years old. Start at Zaandam or Amsterdam North and participate in the shorter or longer distance.

I haven’t received an e-mail about the discount code.
On the 18th of May we will send an e-mail to the participants who were registered in 2020 for the Dam tot Damloop and therefore are entitled to a discount code. In case you haven’t received an e-mail please check your spam folder or unwanted inbox. The participants that where in the final two starting groups in 2019 will also receive their personal discount code on the 18th of May.

Can I convert my registration to the edition of 2022?
No unfortunately that is not possible.
I haven’t received any information about the Mini Dam tot Damloop. Will there be Mini Dam tot Damloop in 2021?
Unfortunately, we don’t know that yet. The realisation of the Mini Dam tot Damloop is partly dependent on the composition of the program of the event. As soon as we know more, we will inform the participants.

Cancellation edition 2021

What happens now the Dam tot Damloop 2021 is cancelled?
Your registration remains valid for the edition of 2022.
Will my registration for the Dam tot Damloop automatically be converted to the edition of 2022?
No that doesn’t happen automatically. No later than March 14 you will receive an e-mail to confirm your participation in the edition of 2022.
I can’t participate in the 2022 edition of the Dam tot Damloop
If you can’t or don’t want to participate, after March 14 you can assign your registration to someone else. Open your registration in your Dashboard and choose ‘Assign’.

Unfortunately it is not possible to cancel your registration.
I haven’t received an e-mail about converting my registration to the edition of 2022.
No Later than March 14 you will receive an e-mail to confirm your participation in the edition of 2022.
I have a discount code from 2020 (or 2019), but I was not registered yet.
You will receive an email with a new discount code for the 2022 edition no later than March 14.
Can I convert my registration to the edition of 2023?
Unfortunately that's not possible. You can choose to confirm your participation in 2022 and transfer your ticket to someone else.
What happens with my ordered extra’s?
Also ordered extra’s (like a shirt of MedalTab) will be transferred to 2022.
What happened to my voluntary donation?
The voluntary donation made for Right to Play will be transferred to charity. The total amount will be announced in September.
Will there be Pink Ribbon Dam tot Dam Wandeltocht and Saxo Bank Dam tot Dam FietsClassic?
Unfortunately, the entire Dam tot Dam weekend has been cancelled. The Pink Ribbon Dam tot Dam Walking Tour and Saxo Bank Dam tot Dam Bicycle Classic will not take place in 2021. For more information www.damtotdamwandeltocht.nl or www.saxobankdamtotdamfietsclassic.nl
When will the Dam tot Damloop be in 2022?
In 2022 the Damloop by night (5 English Mile) will be on Saturday on 17th September and the Dam tot Damloop (10 English Mile) on Sunday the 18th September.
Will there be a Virtual Dam tot Damloop in 2021?
No, there will be no Home edition in 2021.

Cancellation and corona measures 2021

What happens if the Dam tot Damloop 2021 is cancelled?
In case the Dam tot Damloop  can’t be organised in 2021, your registration including ordered extra’s remains valid for the edition of 2022.
Will the Dam tot Damloop take place in a adjusted way?
It is reasonable that the edition of 2021 will be with an adjusted program. We therefore follow the actual developments and will make adjustments when needed.
Which corona rules and regulations will apply?
This depends on the situation in September. We follow the actual developments closely and will inform all people involved.
Is a mouth mask obligatory?
This depends on the rules and regulations that apply in September. We follow the actual developments closely and will inform the people involved in time in case needed.
Should I bring my own food and drinks to the course?
If it is allowed within the rules and regulations of the government we will make sure there are enough refreshment stations alongside the course so that won’t be necessary.
